The Central Kentucky Racking Horse Association is an established organization dedicated to the unity and promotion of the Racking Horse! We offer several opportunities for our members to get together to have fun, and promote this wonderful breed. 

The CKRHA would like to congratulate Travis & Chandra Luttrell on the birth of their son, Mason Cole Luttrell. He was born January 20, and weighed 6 lbs 9 oz, and was 20 inches long. He was also welcomed by a big brother, Lucas Ray Luttrell.

CKRHA GENERAL MEMBERSHIP MEETING

The CKRHA held its yearly general membership meeting on January 7, 2012, at the Woodstock Community Center, in Somerset, KY. At this meeting, the members elected new officers and four three year term board members. The results are as follows:

RED BOOK ADVERTISING

Its that time again!! We are beginning to put together our 2012 Show Directory. This is a great way to promote all your accomplishments and not to mention its a very affordable way to advertise a business. Full page ads are $50 and half page ads are only $25. Be sure to look for your order form with the next newsletter.

CKRHA FAMILY FUN NIGHT

On March 10, 2012, the CKRHA will host a Spring Fling Family Fun Night. CKRHA board members will provide chili and soups and ask everyone to bring a dessert for the Pie/Cake Auction that will take place after the meal. The evening will be filled with basketball, corn hole, and card games. There is also a big screen TV available if someone wants to bring movies for the kids and supervise the kids movie room. This event will start at 6:00 EST, and there will be a flyer included with the newsletter. Admission is FREE, and open to everyone!! This is a great event to get new members! Bring all your horse loving friends!!
